Darien's softball team won its 11th straight game Wednesday with a 14-2 thumping of Brien McMahon.
Nicole Buch ripped four hits and scored four runs to pace a 13-hit attack for the Blue Wave (14-1 overall, 13-1 in the FCIAC). Olivia Gozdz had two hits, scored two runs and had an RBI. Courtney Bell had two hits, scored three runs and had an RBI. Kelly Fahey (two hits, three RBIs) and Emily Moscatello (two hits, three RBIs) also had big days.
Jess DeMaio improved to 14-1 for the Blue Wave, who meet Danbury on Thursday. Darien also has a showdown with undefeated Westhill on Monday.
