Daniel Berwick, of Old Bridge, is facing federal child pornography charges, having previously been charged in Middlesex County earlier this year.

The complaint by federal authorities paints a graphic portrait of a man who they say used the photo of an adult content creator to pose as a 17-year-old to catfish a 14-year-old girl into sending him photos of her masturbating with a vibrator.

Investigators discovered graphic voice messages Berwick is accused of leaving for the teen in which he orders her to "shut the f— up" and spread her legs, and other text messages where he asks her to send her sexually explicit photos of herself.

Later, the girl accidentally sent Berwick a photo of herself engaging in sexual intercourse with another boy, after Berwick had sent her a video of him ejaculating into his own mouth, the complaint reads. Berwick threatened to share the photos, sending the minor photos of her school website and a picture of her posing with a school official.

"I know where you live, who your parents are, your brother’s insta, your insta, and I could just ruin your life," Berwick wrote, according to messages uncovered by investigators."

As the girl pleads with Berwick not to release the photos, he becomes more threatening, demanding money, clearly upset the girl was intimate with someone else.

"U thought I would like to see the girl I share my most intimate moments with f---- a dude with a small d----," he said. "A girl I talked to for the better part of the year and then she blocks me."

The girl said she felt the only way out of Berwick's threats was to commit suicide, before she decided to report him to Snapchat, which began an investigation, eventually leading to Berdick's arrest.

After searching Berwick’s electronic devices, law enforcement uncovered, among other things at least 1,000 images of child pornography, including prepubescent minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, sexual abuse or exploitation of an infant or toddler, and images portraying sadistic or masochistic conduct.

They also found another conversation where he goaded a 16-year-old girl into sending him sexually explicit photos and videos of herself masturbing with her driver's license. Berwick would send her photos, purported to be of him, of him masturbating, and told her to "dox herself."

"Do you enjoy this babe?" Berwick posing as the 17-year-old wrote.

"Yes, daddy," the girl wrote.

"Put the (drivers) license on your -----," Berwick wrote.

"Yes, daddy," the girl wrote.

Berwick also requested the victims film themselves urinating or defecating and drinking their urine, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. In Middlesex County, he was charged with production of child sexual abuse material, manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, aggravated sexual extortion, possession of child sexual abuse material, endangering the welfare of a child, using deceptive audio/video files to further a crime, and distributing obscene material to a child, authorities said.
