The crash was reported on Route 9W northbound in Clarkstown on Tuesday, Sept. 8, according to 511NY traffic reports.
All northbound lanes are closed between Route 303 and Route 304. The closure began at around 2:57 p.m. and remained in effect as of shortly after 3 p.m., according to 511NY.
Officials have confirmed injuries but have not released information about how many people were hurt or the severity of their injuries.
No details about the vehicles involved or what caused the crash were immediately available.
