Herbert Dempsey, 36, of Bloomfield, N.J., was arrested Thursday after allegedly making threatening comments to his ex-girlfriend at the Stamford courthouse Aug. 23, according to police.
The two appeared in court after the ex-girlfriend applied for a restraining order against him. Dempsey was arrested Thursday on charges of second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct. He was scheduled to appear in court the following day.
