The County Independence Party announced the endorsements through the group's website. The four candidates received the Peekskill Democratic City Commitee endorsement in May.
"These four incumbents have successfully demonstrated their independent thinking and willingness to work across party lines in order to do what's best for Peekskill," the group noted in a press release. "Anyone looking at Peekskill can see how far the city has come under their capable and dedicated leadership."
Foster will run for a fourth term this fall and the Common Council members are seeking a second term.
The Peekskill Republican City Committee announced the endorsement of Frank Catalina, Chris Hanzlik, Joe Torres and Vincent A. Vesce in May.
