Who were those masked strangers at Hart Magnet Elementary School on Friday afternoon? The regular students were gone, and in their place there were ghosts, goblins, a walking skeleton, a multicolored insect and other nonhuman beings. The motley group traipsed around the Stamford school, showcasing their costumes in a parade guaranteed to turn heads.
They'll have one more chance to display themselves in full regalia. Today, on All Hallows Eve or Halloween otherworldly creatures traditionally come out of hiding and roam the streets for one scary night. The regular Hart students are expected to return to school bright and early Monday morning.
