Machete Wielding Yorktown Man Detained in Mt. Kisco

YORKTOWN, N.Y.— A Yorktown man allegedly used a machete to threaten someone and was charged with menacing and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, police said.

Yorktown police said that at around 11 p.m. March 22, they responded to a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived they found that the man, Travis D. Walker had allegedly fled the area on foot. Police notified surrounding police departments and Walker was located and detained by Mount Kisco police until Yorktown officers arrived to place him under arrest.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims, and Walker was held on $10,000 bail. He is due in Town Court Tuesday.
