Cops: 2 Somers Residents Driving While Intoxicated

SOMERS, N.Y. – Two Somers residents received tickets during the weekend for allegedly driving while intoxicated, police said.

On Saturday at about 8:30 p.m. Justin S. Doman, 26, allegedly was involved in a property damage accident on Juniper Road in Somers, police said. State Police said Doman allegedly had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14 percent. He is scheduled to appear in Somers Town Court at 5:30 p.m. June 11.

Sergio M. Azcona, 29, was stopped by State Police at about 11 p.m. Sunday for allegedly not wearing a seat belt, operating a vehicle while on a cell phone and failing to maintain the proper travel lane. Police said Azcona was intoxicated, and he refused to submit to a chemical test. Azcona is due to appear in Somers Town Court at 5:30 p.m. June 11.
