The actor, comedian and director is signing copies of his new book, "Ingram" on Thursday, Jan. 15 at Books and Greetings in Northvale at 6 p.m.
Ingram is about a child who leaves behind his family and travels through working class Texas with no resources and no practical understanding of the world, just a daily fight to survive, according to a synopsis.
The boy is guided by diner waitresses, migrant workers, and criminals while facing tornadoes, explosions, thieves, and rampant violence, according to a synopsis.
One of the most acclaimed comedians, Louis CK has won six Emmys and won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album three times.
His career has been dogged by his behavior toward woman. In 2017, he issued a statement acknowledging allegations he had masturbated in front of several women and while they were on the phone with him, leading to the cancellation of numerous projects.
Louis CK will be only signing books and will not be taking photos.
