RYE, N.Y. The Westchester County Department of Public Works began Thursday a two-month milling and paving project at the intersection of Purchase Street and Ridge Street in the City of Rye near the border of Rye Brook and Harrison.
According to a Nixle alert disseminated by the police department, workers, who arrived at approximately 9 a.m., will continue working Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until June 18.
The alert added that the city will be alternating lane closures operated by flaggers around Wappanocca Avenue, High Street and Highland Avenue and encouraged drivers to consider taking alternate routes.
