The forum, held Thursday at VFW Post 672, especially drew the attention of parents of special needs students, according to theexaminernews.com.

Local teachers and educators also decried any plans to require students to pass standardized students, citing that the tests do not accurately measure what students really know, theexaminernews.com reported.
