Gemma Warde was one of the big winners last Saturday at a triathlon held for students at Columbus Magnet School in Norwalk. The first-grader won the girls division in her grade, in which students swam in the Norwalk High School pool, rode bikes in the parking lot and finished by running on the track. Distances varied by grade.
The triathlon was run under the supervision of physical education teacher Smith Mowry.
