During club meetings, students voluntarily ate lunch with the two teachers twice a week while learning about a featured artist.
The children then created art projects interpreting the featured artists, including Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Georges Seurat, Joan Miro and Vincent Van Gogh.
Students also decided which artist was their favorite and wrote opinion pieces and the program culminated in an exhibit of both artwork and writing.
