Redevelopment of the former hospital site includes a change in use for the Lahey Pavilion that calls for it to be converted to a 6,200 square foot senior citizen center, with a 1,350 square foot U.S. Post Office, according to phillipsburg.info.

A plan previously approved would have kept the Lahey building as a medical facility, reports phillipsburg.info.

Parking is the main problem with the new plans, reports phillipsburg.info.
