Sousa was born Feb. 10, 1923, daughter of Palmira and Antonio DaCosta.
Sousa is survived by her children, Mavilde Gomes (Manuel), Esperanca Pinto (Fernando), Jose Sousa (Teresa), and Fernando Sousa (Laura); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Adilia Lopes and Esperanca Santos. She was predeceased by her parents.
Services will be held in Florida.
