POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Christopher D. Jasinski, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, April 1. He was 63.
He was born Oct. 10, 1952, in Poughkeepsie to the late Edward J. and Ruth (Becker) Jasinski.
He first worked at the Town of Poughkeepsie Highway Department before going to work at Central Hudson where he was employed by Dynegy, formerly Danscamer, and retired in 2011. He was a graduate of Arlington High School, class of 1970.
He is survived by his three daughters, Erica Knapp of Hyde Park, N.Y.; Diane Jasinski of Poughkeepsie, and Jessica Jasinski of Poughkeepsie; his son, Jake Jasinski of Poughkeepsie; his mother Ruth (Becker) Jasinski of Pleasant Valley; and his sister Sharon Simmons of Pleasant Valley; along with two grandchildren Camden and Carter Knapp.
He was predeceased by his father Edward J. Jasinski and his brother Joseph E. Jasinski.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 6 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. following the calling hours. Burial will be Private and at the convenience of the family at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
