- 200 Horace Greeley High School Seniors were putting their last touches on “Footloose,” which was slated to be performed over the weekend. Shows took place Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night.
- A two-car accident left a large SUV stranded at the intersection between both Saw Mill River Parkway entrances in Chappaqua, just before the bridge, after both its front left wheel and axle became detached Tuesday evening. No injuries were reported.
- Jamie Edelman was chosen as the next principal of Douglas G. Grafflin Elementary School by Chappaqua Superintendent Lyn McKay and district officials Tuesday afternoon. McKay plans to bring her selection before the school board for approval on Wednesday, April 17 at the board’s public meeting. If approved, Edelman – the current principal at Putnam Valley Elementary School – would begin on July 1.
- New Castle Town Board sat down with Town Assessor Philip Platz to discuss the possibility of conducting a property revaluation as early as October 2014.
