A train struck a vehicle in Halifax, Pennsylvania, leaving what are believed to be minor injuries, officials confirmed to Daily Voice on Wednesday, April 1.

The crash happened along Market Street on Tuesday evening, March 31. 

Multiple train movements were taking place before the incident, Photographer Dustin Weese explained in a Facebook post.

Weese described a sequence of rail activity leading up to the crash, noting that “one train led to a second locomotive,” followed by a third, before the train versus car collision occurred.

Details about how the crash happened, the number of people involved, or the extent of injuries have not been officially confirmed.
