The crash was reported at Einstein Bros. Bagels at 500 Quince Orchard Blvd. in Gaithersburg on Tuesday morning, Oct. 27, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 10:30 a.m. following reports of a vehicle striking a light pole in the parking lot.
Photos from the scene show a silver sedan with extensive front-end damage pressed against the corner of the restaurant, with a fire engine parked nearby.
One person was evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries, Piringer said. Despite the impact, officials reported no structural damage to the building.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
