According to National Weather Service statistics, more than an inch of rain soaked the region on Tuesday. Rainfall totals included:
- Saugatuck: 1.75 inches
- Bridgeport: 1.65 inches
- Fairfield: 1.64 inches
- Bridgeport's Sikorsky Airport: 1.44 inches
?The rain has come to an end for the rest of the week, with just a slight chance of showers late Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday's high temperature will be in the mid-80s under sunny skies, according to the weather service.
