The two-hour meeting, which took place at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, allowed residents to voice their opinions on the plan, which Brewster officials hope will serve as something of a "reboot" for the village, according to The Examiner.
At least one area resident said he wanted the village to use the land for private investments, according to The Examiner.
Village officials, who admitted that there is much work to do before the project moves forward, had been scheduled to review comments and questions from last week's meeting this week.
