Brewster Man, 21, Faces Aggravated DWI Charge

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A 21-year-old Brewster man is facing a drunken driving charge after he was found behind the wheel with a blood alcohol content greater than three times the legal limit, according to New York State Police.

Christian Cordon-Rodriguez was arrested Saturday after troopers assisting Brewster village police pulled him over on North Main Street, state police said.

According to investigators, Cordon-Rodriguez' blood alcohol content was measured at 0.29 percent, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

The 21-year-old was issued several tickets and later released without bail. Police said he faces a misdemeanor count of aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Police said Cordon-Rodriguez is to appear in Brewster Village Court on Monday, Jan. 25.
