Officers responded at approximately to the area of Lodi Street and McKinley Street on a report of a medical emergency involving the driver of a large truck at just after 6:35 a.m.,, according to Police Chief Michael Antista.
Responding officers located the man deceased with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Antista said. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Office.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the deceased,” Antista said.
