Oak View School in Bloomfield experienced water damage due to the water main break, Principal Michelle Fanning said. While school will be closed Thursday, the school transition to remote learning on Friday, Feb. 13, Fanning said.
The school will be open today for Chromebook distribution from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fanning said.
"We understand that sudden closures create challenges for families and we appreciate your patience as we work to keep our students and staff safe," Fanning said. "We will provide a further update on Friday afternoon regarding any potential plans for next week."
