Rosen worked in the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office Office of Emergency Management, serving as Deputy EMS coordinator.
He "was a true leader within New Jersey’s EMS community. He held numerous roles during his career and touched countless lives through his service, compassion, and dedication," the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office said. "His loss will be deeply felt by multiple agencies across the county and throughout the state. Bil was a family man who took tremendous pride and joy in seeing his son follow in his footsteps and begin a career in EMS."
Funeral arrangements have not been publicly announced.
"Bil's commitment to serving others, his leadership, and lasting impact on the EMS profession will never be forgotten," the sheriff's office said. "The public safety family has lost an exceptional individual, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him."
