But thanks to the American Red Cross babysitting course, everyone can learn the leadership, safety and first aid care necessary to be the most popular babysitter on the block.
The Easton Community Center is offering the full-day course on Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Boys and girls ages 11 through 15 will learn leadership, safety and play, basic care, first aid and professionalism. They will have the opportunity to practice first aid care on dummies to simulate real life situations.
Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops can merit badges for attending a session of their own. Professional instructors will facilitate the session. Any scout leaders who would like to set up a session for their troops should contact Joel Silkoff at 203-459-9700 ext. 103.
