PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Barbara D. Thorpe, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died Wednesday, July 18. She was 84.
Born July 14, 1928, Thorpe was the daughter of Arthur and Nancy Brown Dennison. She was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church of Peekskill.
She is survived by a son, Edward L. Lee; a brother, Clinton Dennison; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
