New Hampshire will play Massachusetts at 5 p.m. Thursday at Cubeta Stadium to kick off the New England Babe Ruth Regional Tournament for 16-18-year-old players . Bobby Valentine is scheduled to throw out the first pitch to get the event under way.
Stamford plays at 8 p.m. against Maine in its opening game. The winners of Thursday's games advance to games Friday. The New Hampshire-Massachusetts winner plays Western Massachusetts at 5 p.m., and the Stamford-Maine winner meets Connecticut at 8 p.m.
There are losers' bracket games scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The winners' bracket final is Sunday at 2 p.m. The championship round is scheduled to begin at noon Monday, with an if-necessary game scheduled for 3 p.m. The complete bracket can be found here.
