Antonio Pellicci, Pitney Bowes worker

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday for Stamford resident Antonio Pellicci, who died Oct. 21 at the age of 82.

Pellicci was born July 14, 1928. He was a native of Italy who came to Stamford in 1973.

He was a longtime employee of Pitney Bowes until his retirement. His hobbies included watching soccer, playing cards, gardening and bocce. Pellicci was a member of the Settefratese Social Club and a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Pellicci, a family man, was married for 58 years to wife Addolorata "Vitti" Pellicci, who survives him.

Other survivors include his children Vincenzo and wife Rosa Pellicci of Toronto, Luigi and wife Anna Maria Pellicci of Stamford, Maria and husband Dino Sforza of New Canaan, and Rita and husband Michael Crocco of Stamford; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
