The crash happened around 3:36 p.m. on the 900 block of Woodlane Road, according to Police Chief Clifford Spencer. Two vehicles were involved, and the ambulance ended up hitting a residential property, he said.
Four people were hurt: a person inside the home, the ambulance driver, an EMT treating a patient, and the patient, according to Spencer. All injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, he said.
“There are no signs of criminal activity associated with this crash,” Spencer said.
The investigation is being led by Sgt. Greg Walters. Police said more information will be released as the case develops.
“We are grateful for the swift response and cooperation of our emergency partners,” Spencer said. “The safety of our residents and first responders remains our top priority.”
