OSSINING, N.Y. Alphonse Pavone of Ossining died July 22. He was 82.
He was born Jan. 3, 1930, to Gaetano and Virginia Tranquilla Pavone. He worked as a bulldozer operator for Westchester County.
Pavone is survived by his wife, Elsie; two sons, Alphonse (Cynthia) Pavone Jr. and Edward (Donna) Pavone; two brothers, Albert and Edward; three sisters, Elizabeth Dalton, Marie Bushey and Laura Pousada; six granddaughters and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa; three brothers, Rudy, Donald and Raymond; and a daughter, Elodia.
Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Kensico Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ossining Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 724 Kitchewan Road, Ossining N.Y. 10562.
