FISHKILL, N.Y. – Alma A. Downing, a resident of Fishkill, died Sunday, May 22. She was 83.
She is survived by her children, Susan Schools and her husband Steven of Clinton, Md., Barbara Cohen and her husband Marty of Bremerton, Wash., Dennis Downing and his wife Trine of Poughquag and Donna Tyner and her husband Victor of Wallkill; grandchildren, Kristi, Jessica, Lauren, Jenni and Amy Schools, Christopher, Brandon, Alesha, Amanda Cohen, Parker, Kaitlyn and Rian Downing and Matthew and Jonathan Tyner; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lexi, Sean, Padraig and Jane; and siblings, Thomas and Joseph McDonald and Rosemarie McDonald.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Downing.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Dubois Chapel. Interment to follow.
