New Update: An 86-year-old man who went missing in Westchester County has been found safe.

Alfred James was found after going missing on Tuesday, May 19, after last being seen in the area of 25 Rosedale Rd. in Yonkers, Yonkers Police said in an update on Wednesday afternoon, May 20. 

More information about where James was found was not made available. 

Original Report: Police in Westchester are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 86-year-old man who may need medical attention.

Alfred James was last seen on Tuesday, May 19, in the area of 25 Rosedale Rd. in Yonkers, the city's police department announced on Wednesday, May 20. 

James is described as a Black man standing 5-foot-10 and weighing around 160 pounds. 

According to police, he was last seen wearing a peach collared shirt, blue sweatpants, and socks. 

Authorities noted that James may be in need of medical attention.

The Yonkers Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is actively investigating the case.
