At 5 a.m., firefighters responded to the house fire while a volunteer firefighter in Hopewell Valley, who lives adjacent to the property alerted and assisted all 14 occupants out of the residence as the fire began extending toward the occupied dwelling, the Pennington Fire Company said.
Arriving crews found a detached garage and three vehicles in the driveway fully involved, with fire extending to the residence, firefighters said. The fire was quickly brought under control, limiting damage to the home, firefighters said.
No injuries were reported, firefighters said.
