TOMY International issued the recall for about 116,908 Boon PIVOT Collapsible Toddler Tower Kitchen Step Stools, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, July 16. Another 2,033 stools were sold in Canada.
The recalled metal and plastic tower stools were sold in gray and white. They measure about 22 inches wide, 23 inches deep, and 35 inches tall.
TOMY has received 11 reports of the towers being unstable and shifting or leaning. No injuries have been reported, according to the CPSC.
The toddler towers were sold online at Amazon, Babylist, and Target from January 2023 through June 2026 for about $150. The word "boon" appears along the top rail, while a warning label is visible on the side of the standing platform.
Customers should immediately stop using the recalled tower stools and keep them away from children until they're repaired. TOMY will provide a free stabilizing repair part and installation instructions.
