Accident Closes Route 30 In Lancaster County Traffic on Route 30/Lincoln Highway in Lancaster County is shut down after a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning, June 17, authorities say.  Route 30 is closed between Newport Pike and Simmontown Road, according to PennDOT.  WGAL reports the Lancaster County Coroner's Office responded to the scene.

Crash Shuts Down Lincoln Highway In Chester County: Police Authorities are responding to an accident on Route 30 in West Whiteland on Monday morning, June 17.  Route 30 is shut down east of Springdale Drive and some area residents have lost power, police said around 10 a.m.  The PECO outage map shows more than 100 customers in the area are affected. Service is expected to be restored by noon, PECO says.

Death Investigation Underway In Bucks County Authorities are investigating a death in a Northampton Township home.  Police said they were called for a welfare check around 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16 and found a person dead inside a residence. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, officials said.  In addition to Northampton police, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office is investigating.  "There is no danger to the community," police added.

Bucks County Man Convicted Of Raping Children: DA A Bucks County jury convicted a Warminster man of multiple felony counts including rape of a child on Thursday, June 13, the District Attorney's Office says.  Umair Mir, 39, was previously accused of sexually abusing two sisters over a period of five years, prosecutors said. Vandals Intentionally Disabled Windmills In Schuylkill County: State Police Authorities are looking for the vandals who fired a gun into commercial windmills in Union Township.  State police said it's happened multiple times since March.  The vandals pry open the ventilation gates on the door of the windmills' electrical compartments, then fire a gun at the components inside, causing significant damage and shutting down the turbines, troopers said.  Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Frackville at 610-378-4454 or submit a tip online.

Police Name ATV Rider Killed In Philadelphia Crash Authorities have identified the ATV rider who died in a North Philadelphia wreck on Thursday night, June 13.  Michael Anthony Pembleton was headed south on Broad Street when his ATV hit the passenger side of a Subaru near Westmoreland Street, PPD said.  Pembleton, 35, was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 9 p.m., city police said.  The driver of the Subaru remained on the scene and no arrests have been made, officials said. Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say.  Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.  First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. His injuries "do not appear to be life-threatening at this time."  The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 610-437-7721.
