Driver Crashes Into River In Central Mass After Suffering 'Medical Episode': Police

A Worcester County driver was taken to the hospital after they crashed their car into a river following a medical episode on Wednesday, March 22, authorities said.

Upton police and firefighters responded to the crash on Mendon Street near West River Street after a Chevrolet Yukon went off the road around 3 p.m., authorities said in a tweet. 

The driver, whose name was not disclosed, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. Police did not release any information on their condition.
