Vehicle Fire Closes Lanes Of MD 200

Some lanes of a Montgomery County highway were blocked this morning as rescue crews attempted to put out a vehicle fire.

A tractor-trailer went up in flames on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes of MD 200 near Exit 13 and Exit 16 around 9 a.m., Friday, March 31, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews.

Several emergency crews responded to the incident to help get the fire under control. It is not yet clear how the fire started or if anyone was injured in the incident.
