All health care workers in New York State will be required to get the COVID-19 vaccine, with only limited exceptions for those with religious or medical exemptions.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that staff at hospitals, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, adult care, and other congregate settings will be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than Monday, Sept. 27.

Covid-19: Here's Where, When First 31,000 Vaccines Will Be Distributed In Connecticut
Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont has laid out a tentative rollout plan for the COVID-19 vaccination that’s coming later this month.
Lamont said that the first batch of approximately 31,000 vaccine doses are expected to arrive from Pfizer on Monday, Dec. 14, with an additional 63,000 coming from Moderna one week later on Dec. 21.
To be effective, two doses spread approximately 21 days apart have to be administered.
Lamont estimated that by the end of January, more than 200,000 people will have received two doses, with more than 150,000 receiving their first.

Covid-19: New Jersey Sees More Than 4,400 Cases, Hospital Expansion, Hopefully Financial Aid
New Jersey had more than 4,402 coronavirus cases and 62 deaths as of Wednesday, officials said.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced an additional 736 cases and 18 deaths in Ocean (4), Monmouth (2), and one each in Bergen, Burlington, Cumberland, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset and Union counties.
The increase in cases were a result of community spreading and "aggressive" testing, Murphy said.
But cases are expected to increase -- and the state is working to expand hospitals to accommodate new patients, the governor said.
