Lane Closure: Hutchinson River Parkway To Be Affected In Scarsdale, Harrison Officials are advising motorists who travel in Westchester to watch out for an upcoming lane closure that will affect traffic on a busy parkway in multiple municipalities.  A single lane of the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 14 (Route 127) in Harrison and Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale will close on both Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  Officials added that the closure will last between 7:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. both days. The closure will allow crews to perform bridge work.

Man Charged After Abandoning 2 Dogs On Hudson Valley Road, Officials Say A 64-year-old man faces criminal charges after allegedly abandoning two dogs on the side of a Hudson Valley road, authorities announced. Person Rescued From Steep Hill After 20-Foot Fall In Westchester Firefighters made use of a rope system during the dramatic rescue of a victim who fell around 20 feet down a steep hill in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Saturday, June 8, when an elderly person fell from the top of a steep hill in the Village of Mount Kisco, according to the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving firefighters soon found that the victim had fallen around 20 feet and had come to a rest against two trees.  Because the hill had a steep incline and unstable ground, crews immediately sprang into action and made use of a rope rescue syst…
