The officers were called to a home on the 3800 block of Executive Avenue, responding to a 9-1-1 call. When they arrived, they were met with a lifeless Luis IV. He wasn't breathing, and he had no heartbeat. His mother was frantic, but the officers were cool and collected, or at least, appeared to be, as their training kicked in. Overturned Tractor Trailer Shuts All Lanes Of Turnpike In Kearny An overturned tractor trailer closed all lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike's western spur in Kearny Wednesday, June 12. New Jersey State Police said the Freightliner collided with a Nissan passenger car, causing the truck to flip just after 5:10 p.m. on the northbound side on the Interchange 15W ramp in Kearny. As of 8:35 p.m., all lanes were closed, the NJDOT said. The crash remains under investigation and minor injuries were reported.

Fairfax Rapist Arrested Year Later, Police Say A 30-year-old man has been arrested in a Northern Virginia rape nearly a year after the incident, police said. Kwabena Yeboah, of Bristow, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met on June 15, 2023, police in Fairfax said. Yeboah was arrested and charged with rape on June 10, 2024, and held in the Fairfax County Jail.

A man having suffered gunshot wounds was found in the parking lot of the hospital at 4320 Seminary Road, police said on Wednesday morning, June 12. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in tracking down the vehicle  believed to be involved: A 2008, dark gray, 4-door, Mercedes Benz C class.
