Road Rage: Man Nabbed For Incident In Darien
A 24-year-old man who allegedly pointed a BB gun at a tow truck driver on I-95 in Fairfield County and slowed down to 5 mph has been charged by state police.
Dae Jesus Acosta, age 24, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, was arrested around 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 29, in Darien for a road rage incident.
According to Connecticut State Police, a tow truck driver called 911 after Acosta, who was trying to merge onto I-95 in Darien, in front of the truck slowed down to 5 mph and then pointed what looked like a gun at the driver. He kept following the car for several miles.

A 36-year-old Virginia driver has been arrested in a road rage incident on I-95 this week.
Helmi Barhoumi, of Annandale, was in the left shoulder and trying to pass another vehicle near mile marker 142 on Wednesday, March 20 when trouble began around 7:15 p.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
After exchanging obscenities, Barhoumi threw something at the victim’s vehicle and pulled out a firearm, the sheriff's office said in a release.
