Bellport Man Arrested 46 Times, Nabbed For 10 Larcenies, Police Say
A Long Island man who police say has been arrested 46 times has been charged with 10 new larcenies across the region.
Emmitt Smith, age 43, of Bellport, was charged on Wednesday, April 24, with the larcenies that occurred across Nassau County, according to Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Smith for the following larcenies:

Duo Nabbed With Over $1.5K Worth Of Stolen Clothing From Yorktown Store: Police
Two men face grand larceny charges after stealing over $1,500 worth of clothing from a store in a Northern Westchester mall, police said.
Yonkers residents Christopher Franklin, age 51, and Rafael Godoy, age 41, were both arrested on Sunday, Nov. 5 on grand larceny charges, Yorktown Police announced on Thursday, Nov. 9.

Men Steal $6K In Merchandise From Milford Dick's Sporting Goods, Police Say
A 19-year-old man was nabbed with more than $6,000 in stolen merchandise from Dick's Sporting Goods, while his two accomplices managed to get away, police said.
The incident occurred in New Haven County in Milford on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Dick's Sporting Goods store on Boston Post Road.
According to Milford Police, officers responded to the store after receiving a shoplifting complaint.
The loss prevention officer told police that Terrell Davis, age 19, of Saginaw, Michigan, and two other males select merchandise and bring them to the register, police said.

'His Intentions Were Clear': Man Charged In Brutal Machete Attack At Patchogue Store
The suspect in a brutal machete attack at a Dick’s Sporting Goods on Long Island that injured three people has been charged with attempted murder.
Treyvius Tunstall, age 22, of West Babylon, was charged with multiple crimes in Suffolk County Monday, Aug. 29, stemming from the attack that injured a store manager and two customers.
Prosecutors said Tunstall went to the Dick’s Sporting Goods store located in Westfield Mall in Bay Shore on Friday, Aug. 12, to buy a machete, a hunting knife, and a backpack.
