The recovery of DNA evidence has linked a Loudoun County man to unsolved sex offenses dating back to the 1990s in Fairfax County, police announced. Edward Eugene Pottmyer, 58, of Chantilly, was arrested on charges of forcible sodomy and intent to defile on June 5, Fairfax County police said. The development in the cases is due to recovered forensic evidence from the scenes, which was submitted for analysis. A 58-year-old man is wanted for sexually assaulting a victim under 15 years old in Prince William County, police said. Arturo Gomez Toribio, of Nokesville, sexually assaulted the victim sometime between May 1 and June 5, according to county police. Erick Vladamir Chacon Martinez, 23, had arranged to meet the victim at the Quarry Inn Motel at 7179 Lee Highway on Sept. 16, county police said.
