More than $200,000 had been raised for the children of Charlene "Charlie" and Kyle Savage as of Tuesday, May 24, the Facebook fundraiser reads.

The fundraiser — created by Kester Irwin Hanley Crosse II — is intended to help the Savage's oldest son, Kyle Jr., begin college at Hampton and is on track to graduate from Dematha Catholic High School.

Knico will begin high school in the fall.

The fiery crash occurred after the couple lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a pole on the 12200 block of Annapolis Road around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, May 21.

More than 2,300 people had donated in the three days that the campaign has been active, swiftly passing the $40,000 goal.

Gold's Gym in Bowie has vowed to support the Savage brothers.
