Driver Suffers Serious Injuries In Rollover Northwest DC Crash

One person was hospitalized overnight in Northwest DC after needing rescue from an overturned Audi that crashed, officials said.

Shortly after midnight on Thursday morning, DC Fire and EMS personnel were called to the 4800 block of McArthur Boulevard NW, where there was a reported crash with one person trapped inside who was conscious and alert at the time.

First responders were able to stabilize the vehicle and get the driver out, who was rushed by paramedics to an area hospital with “serious injuries.”

The driver’s condition was not available later on Thursday morning.

No information about the driver’s ID or what caused the crash has been released by officials.
