Shake Shack Offers Free Burgers With Purchase During Holiday Promotion
Shake Shack is launching a limited-time promotion offering free burgers with a qualifying purchase during the holiday season.
The “Holiday Burger Blitz” will run from Monday, Dec. 16, to Tuesday, Dec. 24, providing customers with a free burger each day when they spend a minimum of $10 and use the code BURGERBLITZ at checkout.
The promotion features a different burger each day, including popular items like the ShackBurger, SmokeShack, and Avocado Bacon Burger. The schedule for the free offerings is as follows:

Smile, You're On Body Camera: TJ Maxx To Equip Employees To Fight Shoplifting
To fight the recent rise in shoplifting and retail theft, shoppers could see store security employees wearing body-worn cameras to help catch thieves red-handed.
TJX, the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Serria, HomeSense, and HomeGoods, said will begin equipping some employees with body-worn cameras similar to those worn by police, the Boston Globe reported. The company started testing the initiative last year.
The company operates nearly 3,400 stores nationwide.

A Virginia Macy's store is among a handful to shutter across the U.S., a spokesperson confirmed.
Macy’s will close five full-line locations located at Ballston (Arlington, VA), Bay Fair (San Leandro, CA), Kukui Grove (Lihue, HI), Simi Valley Town Center (Simi Valley, CA), and Governor’s Square (Tallahassee, FL).
The closures mean more than 2,300 employees will be laid off, CNN reports. A Macy's spokesperson said its workforce will be reduced by 3.5% "to become a more streamlined company."

Amazon Unveils HQ2 In Arlington
After four years in the making, Amazon has unveiled the first phase of HQ2 in Arlington's Crystal City.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, June 15 at Metro Park, which includes a playground, and of course a pair of 22-story office towers powered by renewable energy that can accommodate 8,000 employees.
The buildings at 1400 S. Eads St., boast 50,000 square feet of retail space, EV charging stations, bike racks, bike lanes, a dog park, walking paths.
