Expectant Father, Navy Sailor From Virginia Tanner Huffman Dies Suddenly, 22 Tanner Huffman, a former baseball player from northern Virginia turned Navy sailor, died on Saturday, Aug. 26. Tanner Huffman, 22, played baseball for Massapnoax High School before serving the U.S. as a member of the Navy — following in his father's footsteps, according to his obituary. Tanner, of Colonial Beach and Fredericksburg, met his wife, Heather, while stationed in Japan, his obit says. They two were expecting a daughter, Kamryn June, together in October, the obituary says. The Japanese auto giant announced this week that it is recalling more than 330,000 Odyssey, Passport, Pilot, and Ridgeline models that were produced between 2020 and 2022 due to the issue.
