Former Healthcare Worker Behind Bars For Abandoning Vulnerable Man To Make Food Deliveries: DOJ
A Maryland man who worked at a care facility will have time to think about his actions after pleading guilty to leaving a vulnerable adult under his supervision alone in a vehicle that was taken from his Rockville-based employer while he made food deliveries. Upper Marlboro resident Kelly Barry, 25, was sentenced to 180 days in jail - with a portion suspended - followed by probation and 90 hours of community service after admitting to abusing a person while on the job.
