A 26-year-old ex-convict being held in jail in connection with an unrelated incident has been charged with murder in the death of a 30-year-old man. Tavaris Maleek Eberhardt is accused of killing Carlos Marcell Moore, 30, when he fired shots into the vehicle he was sleeping in on May 23, police in Prince William County said. He was charged with murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, tampering with evidence, and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. Ryan Jones, 40, a certified Sommelier from Fairfax County, died on May 13, 2024 at his childhood home surrounded by family after a battle with neuroendocrine carcinoma, his obituary on the Demaine Funeral Home site says. Ryan graduated from Fairfax High School and went on to attend Radford University, where he was a member of the 2003 Division II National Champion Rugby Team, his obituary reads. Fairfax Teen Fatally Struck By Car Had Dreams Of Becoming Nurse, Loved Ones Say
Support was surging for the family of a 17-year-old Fairfax High School student struck and killed by a car this week. Lesly Diaz-Bonilla's dreams of being a nurse were cut short Wednesday, Nov. 16 when she was struck while crossing Columbia Pike from Barcroft View Terrace in Bailey's Crossroads just before 9 a.m., according to a GoFundMe launched for her family, and authorities.
